Panel Discussion with Salwa Mikdadi and Afra Al Dhaheri at Abu Dhabi Art 2024 on the development of Art in the UAE, Afra Al Dhaheri’s work, Salwa Mikdadi’s archive project Al Mawrid and my book on contemporary art in the UAE and on the development of art historical discourses related to art from the UAE and the Arabian Gulf region.

This was a book launch of sorts and it was wonderful to do this at Abu Dhabi Art, which I had visited in its first iteration as Art Paris Abu Dhabi at the Emirates Palace in 2007!
